TEAM STAFF DEVELOPMENT (Clinics & Programs)

Coach, Trainer, Managers require current certification to be on the bench & rostered to a team. Certification is valid for a 3 year period then has to be upgraded with refresher or full clinic.
Exception with Trainer if qualify for level 2 (valid medical or first aid background).

For 2010 2011 season, The OWHA requires that there be at least one female rostered to a team in any staff position. (Coach, trainer or manager). We do encourage that, if possible, a team roster a female trainer or coach.

If you are attending a Ontario Minor Hockey Assoc.( OMHA) clinic please obtain a OWHA form that needs to be submitted to the OWHA office to obtain your certification number & card. Forms available below.  Attendance at an OWHA clinic does not require to submit a form as you will be registered with them at this time..
 

 

Trainers require  Minimum.-  Level 1 Trainer & PRS
Coaches require Minimum.- Coach..preferably Developmental 1 & PRS
Managers on bench require Speakout (PRS)
